I don't see how people can write on their blogs everyday, but then again, I'm definetely NOT a writer, so maybe that's the problem. We're doing good down there in the south. We're getting a little more accustomed to the humidity down here, although I don't know if we'll eve get really used to it.
We're leaving for Utah tomorrow for Amy's wedding. I'm so proud of her and can't wait to see her again. THis living on the other side of the country from family is growing on me. Can't wait to see our Utah friends!

Are you up for the Challenge?
So a friend of mine from freshman year pointed out that about two years ago President Hinckley challenged us all to read the Book of Mormon before the end of the year. Matt and I were engaged/married during that time and while we tried, we didn't make it by the cutoff. So round two... anyone with me??? We started on Sunday and it's been such a good experience so far, I'm really excited to keep it up. Good Luck!

AHHHHH!!!
So I thought I knew what I was doing with this thing, but somehow I tried to change the "design" of the blog and I lost a lot of the features. They're slowly coming back, but I have to remember how to do it all again. This is kind-of confusing. Thanks for putting up with me!

Happy Birthday Taylor!!!
Taylor turned one year old on Friday! We can't believe it! He's grown up so fast it's scary! I made him cupcakes frosted as basketballs, baseballs, and footballs. I went a little over board I think, but it was fun. I baked some of them in ice cream cones so Taylor could hold on to it. He liked that and shoved the whole cone in his face. Here are some pictures of the party!

Pictures
So we took family pictures yesterday, right after a short nap for Taylor. It was pretty rough. He didn't want to smile and he wanted to watch the ducks walk around by the pond. So we'll see if any of them turn out. Once we got home though I took some pictures of him. With shoes on, he's really good at standing up. Here's one of my favorites, isn't he the cutest kid you've ever seen?!

Congratulations!
Yesterday was my parent's 25th wedding anniversary! They are such good examples of how to be partners, parents, and so much more. I just wanted to wish them a Happy Anniversary and can't wait to celebrate their 50th and so many more! I love you!

House Hunt
Well, NC was great! Matt and I really enjoyed it. We searched nonstop for a house. Taylor stayed with Matt's parents in California so we were able to get a lot done. I probably saw the inside of 50 houses. But the best news of all is that we found pne we want! We finally settled on a price and it will be ours on June 28th. We'll be leaving Provo on the 29th to drive out there.
The house is in Rock Hill, SC. THe new store that Matt will be working at is about 5 minutes from our house. It's in a cute little community hidden in a forest of trees! 3 bd. 2 ba on a 1/4 acre. Here are some pictures of it.

Leaving on a Jet Plane...
So I knew I wouldn't be so good at this blogging thing. I just forget about it. Well, our new news is that Matt has an interview on Wednesday in North Carolina. They are flying both of us out there tomorrow to start the housing search. That's what I'm really excited about! I've been reseraching the area and trying to find out as much as I can before we go out there. We'll meet up with our friends Scott and Jess who moved out there about a year ago.
So this past weekend we went over to California to visit Matt's parents and we left Taylor with them. It's crazy to not have a baby to take care of. This is our first time apart for any amount of time... and it's scary! I miss him adn I don't know what to do with all my time. I've got some errands to run before we leave again tomorrow morning so I'd better go. I'll let ya know how the trip goes!

Graduation
Well, today I will become a college graduate! I guess it's exciting. I've been working toward this for four years, and now it's done, kinda weird!
Matt heard from North Carolina this week. He had an phone interview. It turns out Stock is building a new store right right now in Rock Hill, South Carolina, about ten minutes south of the NC and SC border. They are looking for an assistant manager. The guy that interviewed Matt was really impressed with him, and he's working out a time for Matt to fly out there. Hopefully when Matt goes, Taylor and I can find a cheap flight and go out to look for a place to live. We'd probably live in North Carolina and Matt would drive over to go to work so that we can start getting NC state residency, but we've got to look at the policies they have on getting it. So that's our good news for the week.

Great Day
Well, no news from Stock, but Taylor got his helmet off. He doesn't even have to wear it at night. We are really excited! Church was great today. Don't you just love it when you have those days where everything is just good. That's been today. Taylor and I woke up around 7:15 and we played then I got ready for church, I got Taylor and we all walked to church. Our sacrament meeting was really good, our Sunday School teachers did a great job and in Relief Society we talked about Pres. Faust's talk "The healing power of forgiveness," and there were so many comments. It was just a great day!

The Waiting Game
Well, Matt is finishing up his one year manager-in-training program with Stock Builiding Supply, and we're just waiting to see where they're going to send us. We asked for 1. Ohio 2. North Carolina 3. Austin, Texas. One of his managers let it slip that he has an interview in North Carolina, but where or when we have no clue! I'm getting really anxious, just waiting around.
My last day of college was yesterday! I don't think that it's hit me yet that I'm graduating. It's kind 0f anti-climatic. I only have one final during finals week, and it's online and then I'm done.
Taylor has four teeth now. He was so cranky on Monday, but his second HUGE top tooth broke through, so now he likes to chew on his fingers with his new pearly whites. Some of you may not know about his helmet... let me enlighten you. When he was really little he would only sleep on his right side and therefore the right back side of his head is flat, so we've been wearing a helmet since February 6th. The helmet allows his head to only grow in the back right so it will be round again. It looks so good now, and I'm hoping at our doctor's visit tomorrow we'll get the thumbs up and get to take it off. We'll see!
