Making Santa's Cookies, 12.24

Making Santa's sugar cookies was quite the adventure. Taylor and I had to roll out the dough and cut out the shapes we wanted faster than Brayden could eat it- it was quite the challenge! The boys had fun though.

Dad helped us decorate them. Hopefully Santa was prepped for all that sugar! Taylor really piled on the frosting- and of course, Brayden just licked it off his fingers.

Santa Tags

I found a cute idea from this scrap book lady's blog to make Love, Santa gift tags. I LOVED them- the boys didn't even notice but I'm going save them and Santa will use them every year.

Brayden, 12.22

This is how we found Brayden sleeping one night.

In order to sleep our little boy has to have 2 sleep blankies and 2 puppy dogs.

Sledding, 12.20-21

We had a full week of dad being home before Christmas. Thankfully it snowed and we got to go sledding.

The easiest way back up the hill- ride on your brother while dad drags you!

Lights at Temple Square 12.19.10

Another night of family fun was to go see the lights at temples square. The boys really loved this and had fun running around. Unfortunately my camera (or me) was struggling that night so non of the pictures of the actual lights turned out in focus.

Matt's great-grandfather is the creator of this sculpture.

Visiting Santa and a Sleigh Ride

For December we had a Family Countdown Calendar that had activities for us to do every day. One night our activity was to go see Santa at an outdoor shopping center and ride the free horse drawn carriages. The boys loved it.

Bray was a little apprehensive about Santa- Taylor couldn't wait to tell him everything on his list!

It was pretty chilly but we dressed warm and there are fires all over the place to keep warm.

A lady felt bad for Brayden being out in the cold so during the carriage ride he rode in her lap under her blanket. He enjoyed the extra warmth!

(I know this is REALLy late, but I want to document it)
