Hair Cut

So I finally did it! I cut my hair. I feel like it's so short now because I haven't has it short since 7th grade!!! I'm still getting used to it, but Matt actually likes it so that helps. It didn't even phase Taylor.

The Package

So Matt called from work the other day to warn me that he had a toy for Taylor, but that I might not be too happy with it. I thought about what it could be that I wouldn't like and when he walked in the door he had a box in his hands. Taylor and I were both confused until Matt put it on the floor and opened it up. It was full of packing peanuts. Taylor loved it! I was a little worried about the choking hazard and the mess it might make, but Taylor was great. First of all, he hates to put them in his mouth, so that's good and when he gets out of his box, he walks around it to make sure all the peanuts are put back in the box and then closes the flaps, so I haven't had to clean it up. Great Toy! I love when Matt brings home things like that!

$6.20

So the other night we went to Target and on our way to check out I figured I might as well take a look at Taylor's section and see if there's anything good. Well, much to my surprise they had shirts for .78 a piece!!! Wahoo! I was really excited, I think Matt was even a little embarrassed of how happy I was! Since I paid so little for the shirts, the pants we SUPER expensive in comparison, but it was still a great find. I got all this for only $6.20! I love finding deals like this.

Our Little Cowboy

We dressed Taylor as a cowboy for Halloween. His great-grandmother got him some cowboy boots so we were excited to get to wear them, but when we put Taylor down after putting the boots on his feet he took one step and fell over. It was like he had to learn to walk again with them on. It was so funny. He stood up but wouldn't walk unless one of us was holding his hand. After a few laps around the living room he got the hang of it and was ready to go.
Taylor loved trick-or-treating. Our ward had a trunk-or-treat so we went to that and he would follow all the big kids around. He didn't want people putting anything in his basket, but once he found out it was candy he was so excited! He would chew on the wrappers so we had to periodically change to a new candy so he wouldn't bite through it and get any of the good stuff.

As you can see from the pictures, Matt and I didn't dress up, but I wore fake eyelashes that were supposed to glow in the dark, and they were the hit of the party. I got SO many compliments on them.

Pumpkin Patch

For FHE on Monday night we went to a pumpkin patch up in Charlotte. We went on a hay ride to their milk barn (a barn with two milk cows in it) and then to their petting zoo. Taylor loved feeding the animals and just ran around between the lambs and the goats.

What he really wanted to do was drive the tractor that was pulling us. They brought us back to the pumpkin patch and we got to pick out our pumpkins, only Taylor didn't want to pick out a pumpkin. There were three tractors parked in the pumpkin patch that don't work anymore and Taylor just ran around from one to the other. He LOVED it!

We came home and carved our pumpkins, but Taylor just wanted to eat the insides. He really liked to crunch on the raw seeds.... eww!
